Top 15 Best Thesis in India in the area of power system are awarded annually by Power System Operation Corporation (wholly owned Government of India Enterprise under the Ministry of Power) with the prize money of 1 lakh (each). The award ceremony function was held at IIT Delhi on 13th March 2020.

  • Workshop conducted:

  • A unique 3-day workshop from Alumni Mr Balakrishana Puttur (1982 batch EEE) on VFD-PLC-SCADA was organized (and coordinated) for the students of EEE from  16th to  18th Jan 2026. Mr Balakrishan Puttur deliberated on the topic using the “4 kW motor + Panel” manufactured by him at his organization. As coordinator I wholeheartedly thank him for the initiative and for the generosity of donating this unit to EEE department costing Rs 5 lakhs.
